Since 2019, when the Ordinance on the Energy Efficiency Obligation Scheme (Official Gazette 41/2019) was published in the territory of the Republic of Croatia, the possibility of trading energy savings has been defined as one of the possibilities for the obligated parties (energy suppliers) to fulfil their obligations in terms of achieving annual energy savings.
